On Friday November 22, 2024, the Mensah Sarbah increased its products inventory by launching polo and t-shirts. The custom shirts featuring embroidered hall’s logo and traditional colours come in five different styles and sizes to suit all preferences. In her remarks during the launching, the most senior fellow of the hall, Prof. Josephine Dzahene-Quarshie noted that the shirts significantly epitomises pride of the hall and encouraged every associated member of the Viking community and the university to buy and wear Mensah Sarbah Hall. On his part, the Hall Master, Prof. Roger A. Atinga thanked the committee led by Dr. Yvonne Agbetosoamedo for their efforts and commitment in proposing well designed custom shirts for the hall. He noted that launching of the shirts marks another giant step toward achieving the objective of establishing an ultra modern shop for the development, stocking and sales of a range of custom branded products of the hall.
Proceeds from the shop will be used to improve residential facilities and services in fulfillment of the vision of making Mensah Sarbah Hall the preferred hall of residence for students and guests. The Hall Master, urged students, staff, fellows, alumni and members of the University to patronise the shirts which are ideal for office, regular work and every event. Present at the launching were hall management, staff, fellows, students and alumni. The shirts available in polycotton and cotton can be purchased at the office of the hall bursar.
