The Hall Master has a duty to demonstrate proactive leadership by mobilising the needed human and materials resources to build and sustain a conducive residential and learning ecosystem, that complements the world-class status of the University. Achieving this requires working with all relevant stakeholders particularly staff, fellows, students, and alumni whose collective efforts can deepen the commitment to continue to set the pace for others.

The office has a rich history of leadership – having been occupied by 20 Hall Masters.
