Dr. Yvonne Agbetsoamedo is a Senior Lecturer and a researcher at the Department of Linguistics where she teaches Syntax, Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Research Methodology and Field Linguistics. Links: Publications

Dr. Yvonne Agbetsoamedo holds a Master of Philosophy degree and a PhD in Linguistics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim and Stockholm University, Sweden, respectively.
Dr. Agbetsoamedo specialises in the description and documentation of lesser documented languages. Her current research project focuses on Sɛlɛɛ, a language spoken by the people of Santrokofi. She is a Fellow of the African Humanities Programme of the American Council of Learned Societies. She is a member of a number of Linguistics associations locally and internationally. She was also an invited lecturer at the Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics – Graduate School of Linguistics, Philosophy and Semiotics, University of Tartu, Estonia. Dr. Agbetsoamedo is passionate about organic farming and she is also a certified yoga massage therapist.
